Children and preparation

The Orfeón Pamplonés’ pool of young voices starts in the Initiation Group and develops through its different young choirs: the Junior Children’s Choir, the Senior Children's Choir and the Youth Choir.

These choirs, grouped together under the name of the Young Choirs, have performed in a range of cycles and concerts alongside orchestras like the Navarre Symphony Orchestra, the Basque Country Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, the Pamplona Municipal Band “La Pamplonesa” and the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory Orchestra. They have been conducted by such greats as Valéry Gergiev, Oleg Caetani, Carl Davis, Ernest Martínez Izquierdo, Jesús María Echeverría and Vicent Egea, shared the stage with soloists like Ainhoa Arteta and worked under stage directors such as Eduardo Bazo.
